Katie DiPrinzio
Associate Attorney
At McEldrew Purtell, Katie is dedicated to helping injured people seek justice, with a focus on Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect and Medical Malpractice law.
In 2014, Katie became the first in her family to attend college, earning a Bachelor’s in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
After graduation, Katie took a nontraditional path to her legal career. Her perse background includes roles in the service industry, as a legal assistant, and as a full-time nanny and small business owner. These varied experiences allow her to connect with her clients, and one of her core values is bringing empathy and compassion into her work.
Katie earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University – Beasley School of Law. While in law school, she was a National Trial Team champion, competing against other law schools nationwide to hone the craft of trial law. Katie’s success in mock trial competitions and other trial advocacy pursuits at Temple Law earned her the Conwell Law Scholarship, the Trial Advocacy Scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year, and The Integrated Trial Advocacy Award for excellence in trial advocacy.
After her grandmother was mistreated in a nursing home in 2022, Katie began to work for McEldrew Purtell’s Nursing Home Abuse and Neglect department, and she hasn’t looked back since.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
