Stacy Smith

Stacy Smith is a paralegal in McEldrew Purtell’s Nursing Home Litigation Department. Prior to joining McEldrew Purtell in 2022, Stacy worked for a prominent plaintiff’s firm where she focused on nursing home and hospital negligence cases. Driven by her personal experiences, Stacy is a compassionate aid to families while assisting them in holding negligent facilities accountable. Stacy provides support to the attorneys in all phases of case management from pre-litigation to resolution in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Stacy holds an A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies and a B.A. in Psychology. Stacy has been the recipient of multiple awards including a faculty-nominated full scholarship for her academic standing and leadership in the classroom during her dual-studies.

In her free time, Stacy enjoys traveling the east coast to visit her extended family and spending time with her cats. She donates her time to local South Jersey non-profit Animal Rescues as a foster mom, TNR program advocate, transporter, and fundraising volunteer.
