Sarah Khalil
Nurse Paralegal
Sarah received a BSN from Holy Family University in 1992 and a Masters in Education; The Teaching of Nursing from the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in 2002. Member Sigma Theta Tau. She has worked in Med-Surg, NICU, Pediatrics and homecare for 32 years as a Registered Nurse plus ten years before that as an aide. She has taught in various nursing schools in New York City and Pennsylvania, in both RN and PN programs. She is a former Chair of Curriculum Committee and helped create the Practical Nursing Program at LaGuardia Community College in New York City. Her areas of interest include leadership, communication, writing, teaching, mentoring/tutoring, NCLEX prep and analyzing medical documents. Sarah lives at home with her dog and cat, and has two adult sons, one in medical school, the other about to enter law school. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, travelling and swimming.
